Jose grew up in the Catholic church until he was 16. Afterwards, he spent the next several years using drugs, alcohol, was depressed and suicidal. One night, for the first time in years, he asked God to reveal himself. A month later, he had an encounter with God during a job interview. God used his former supervisor to reveal himself in a supernatural way which radically changed his life. His wife, Lyniece also had a similar encounter a few years later. They have been married for 10 years and have 4 beautiful children.
According to Jose, "What makes us who we are is His word, and His incredible grace. We have been adopted into His family and our thankful to serve Him in any way he chooses."
Jose has provided pastoral care, prophetic insight, and teaching/discipleship for Cross Culture Chicago and, formerly, Abundant Life World Outreach for the greater part of a decade. His passion is to see the local church know who they are in Jesus and to develop a deep intimate relationship with Him. Jose believes God wants to use His people to begin a revolution in their homes, cities and in this nation.
